Freshness is paramount at Hills of Byron. Coffee does not have a long shelf life and can lose its subtleties in just a few weeks - quicker if exposed to light, heat and most of all, oxygen. Hills of Byron meets this challenge with a combination of smaller roasting batch sizes and specially designed packaging.

Smaller batch sizes also enables consistent quality. Hills of Byron is able to tune the roasting of each batch to suit the characteristics of the beans being processed.

Depending on whether you use the plunger, filter, stove top espresso or electric coffee machine, we have you covered. Each coffee is individually roasted to bring out the best qualities of that particular coffee then packed in three sizes 100g, 225g and 1kg. The bags feature a unique one-way valve to enable the carbon dioxide to escape without letting in any oxygen. As a result, customers receive their coffee almost straight from the roaster.
